About the event
This initiation takes place in small groups, just like a real Japanese tea ceremony.
You will learn there:
- How to drink Matcha?
- When can we greet?
- What are the intentions and meaning of the different gestures?
In a private and quiet setting, take your first steps and learn the basic gestures of a guest at the tea ceremony, taste the matcha in all serenity and live a moment out of time.
We will end the session with a private guided tour of the Kintsugi exhibition to better understand the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi, so intimately linked to both Kintsugi and the tea ceremony.
