About the event

Why is this course unique? What is included in the price?

Since a piece traditionally takes more than a month to finish due to drying and resting times, each student will receive from Sensei several ceramic pieces in different stages of work and finishing prepared by themselves. For more than 20 years, he has been teaching the art of Kintsugi in Tokyo and receives students from all over the world. This is the first time that Sensei Tsukamoto has come to teach in Europe, driven by the deep need to transmit this traditional and ancestral art that is so dear to him. This is not a discovery training, but a masterclass with certification signed by Sensei.

Each student receives a box of material directly imported from Japan which includes:

Ki urushi, Kokuso Glue A, Kokuso Glue B, Urushi black, Roiro Urushi red, E-Urushi (for Maki-e), Kijiro Urushi, Japanese Paper (2 kinds for filtering), Pure Golden Powder (+/- 400€) : 24K gold powder, Pure Silver Powder (+/- 100€)Silver powder, Silk Puff, Maki-e Brushes (2 brushes)Maki-E brush, Regular Brushes (2 brushes) , Brush Rest, Bamboo Tubes (2 tubes), Small Spoon (for powder), Spatula (for cleaning brush), Paperweight, Metal File (2), Grindstone (3 types), Charcoal (for filing, photo “charcoal”), Jinoko, Quarters (for final filing)
